God answers prayers!
It was 2007 then and I had no job. I went to the mall with my sister. We saw that David Pomeranz was having a concert in Trinoma mall. We watched the concert from afar since we didn’t have the money to buy tickets for his concert. After the concert, the host announced that those who bought posters, CD’s and concert tickets will have the opportunity to have an autograph and a picture with the singer. I didn’t have any extra cash to buy even a poster at that time. I wanted to have an autograph with David Pomeranz but all I have is a few cash for our transportation to our way back home and a receipt from the medicines I bought for myself. I prayed to God about my desire to have an autograph and a picture with the singer. There was somewhat a message that said yes inside me. I took it as a reply from God. So, I told my sister that I’m going to join the fans that are lining up for David’s autograph. There were three men on three posts guarding each sections of the line going to the stage where David was sitting by a long table. Each man checks each fan if he or she has a ticket or a poster or a cd to qualify in having an autograph with David. I joined the cue and prayed, “ Lord Jesus, I trust in you that you’ll let me pass the men guarding each part of this line”. I watched each fan show her poster to the men as each passed the three men. I was about to pass the first man on the first post. To my surprise, he looked the other way. I breathed and thanked God. As I approached the second man guarding the line, I prayed, “Lord, I trust in you”. When it was my turn, the second man looked away. Again, a sigh of relief. Now, the last man would be hard for me to pass through since he’s on the top of the stairs going to the stage and he’s all focused on each fan checking their posters, tickets or CDs. For the third time I prayed, “Lord Jesus, I trust in you that you’ll let me pass through”. I came in front of the man asking me for any item required to approach David. I smiled at him and said, “ I don’t have any of the requirements. Please let me have an autograph with David. It has always been a dream fro me to see him in person and have this chance to get close to him. The young man smiled and let me passed through. However, the tall and large framed bodyguard of David Pomeranz stopped me from approaching David. He told me, “ You don’t have any of the required stuff. You can’t have an autograph with David!” I replied, “ Please let me have this one chance.” David Pomeranz called his attention and asked what’s wrong. He told David I don’t have the requirements for me to get his autograph. David said, “Let her…” David smiled at me and asked what I want. I smiled and thanked him. I told him I’m a big fan and I wanted so much to have his autograph. I told him I don’t have any poster of him. I just have a receipt from my meds for him to sign his autograph on. I showed him the receipt and asked if he could sign his autograph on it. David smiled and willingly said yes. He took the receipt and signed his autograph at the back of it. Then, he asked what more do I want. I told him if I could have a picture with him using my sister’s phone. He called the large framed bodyguard and told him to take a picture of us. I smiled and said thank you to him.
From that instance I discovered that David Pomeranz’s not only a great singer but also a man with a big, good heart! I love David Pomeranz! Such a sweetheart!
As you can see from what had happened in my experience, God answers prayers! Nothing is impossible with God!
