God Made My Dreams Come True!

I was browsing through the books at the National Bookstore. I saw the popular books of a certain author. I took one and read a few pages. I liked what I read. I was telling myself, "No wonder why his books are best sellers. Indeed, they're very inspiring and encouraging. I wish someday I could buy his books. I hope one day I'd meet this admirable, well-sought, and famous author Bo Sanchez. "

Years passed, and one by one, my dreams came to be fully realized.

I was sitting in the audience beside my peers who came to give me full support in my first serve as a Lector in the holy mass at the Valle Verde Country Club. It's an every Sunday event of the Feast by Brother Bo Sanchez. 

Brother Bo Sanchez was having his talk after the mass. He invited us, the audience to share any answered prayers, miracles, or anything where God showed forth His power in our lives. He asked any of us from the audience to come to the front beside him and with great gratitude share God's miracles and great works in our lives with the whole congregation.

At first, there was no one volunteering and so, I raised my hand and took the chance to tell the crowd my story. My friends who saw me raised my hand were going enthusiastically giggling that I would do such a thing. I told them, "It's my way of glorifying God." They cheered me on.

I was whispering a simple prayer asking God to give me that chance to make known His awesome power at work in our lives. I was praying, "God, please let me have the chance to stand there in front of all these people and let them know Your marvelous deeds in my life."

Brother Bo looked around and saw my raised hand. I was sitting in almost the last rows of the hall. Brother Bo announced, "Yes, you! Kindly come here in front and share your story." Since I was sitting from the last rows, it took a while to get to the front. I felt every step I took before I reached the front of the audience where Bro Bo was standing. I was beginning to feel conscious and nervous knowing that all eyes were on me. The audience was all quiet as they waited. When I reached the front, Bro Bo handed me an extra microphone and told the audience, "Here's our sister who is going to share her story. Go ahead, sister! Share with us your story."

I, in a bit trembling voice started out relaying my experience of how God answered my prayers. I spoke to the crowd saying, " Hello everybody! I'm Vivien. I am going to share with you how God awed me in my life. Years ago I was only hearing about Bro Bo Sanchez. He's so famous that I often hear my friends talk about how they're so fond of his books. So, one time I was in the mall, and I decided to go to the National Bookstore to enjoy myself browsing through the interesting stuff and books there. I found the books that were so popular including Bro Bo Sanchez's books. I smiled to myself and whispered, "Finally, I get to see this famous author's books!". I took one that appeals to my heart. Browsed through a few pages and began to understand why people love this Bo Sanchez. My thoughts were "One day when I'd have the money, I'd buy myself his books. Hopefully, I get to meet this great author face to face someday." It felt as if I'm sure of what I'm telling myself. I smiled and said, "Someday. I would someday. God be willing!"

And here I am now! Standing in front of you, all! I'm standing here beside Brother Bo Sanchez as you can all see! God answered all my prayers! I, now have a good-paying job! I was able to buy Brother Bo's books! And a big bonus is that I'm serving God as a Lector in the masses here and a part of Brother Bo's ministry! So, yes! I'm telling you all that God is awesome! He answered all my prayers! God made my dreams and wishes come true! Praise God ".
