Of all the hospitals I've been to, I could gladly say that The Medical City in Ortigas Avenue, Pasig City is one of the best ever!

From Admitting Section to Billing Section, to other offices there, I received the best treatment I have not experienced from the previous hospitals we've been to years ago.

Being a PWD (Person With a Disability), I often experience being overlooked by most people who never cared about how difficult it is to be in a wheelchair.

The officers and staff there in The Medical City made me feel like a VIP (Very Important Person) The officers in the Admitting Section are very accommodating and courteous. They listened to every concern I had and provided appropriate solutions.   I was really surprised to discover that they've got the same financial assistance as the government hospitals do. They are connected to three government institutions that offer financial assistance through guarantee letters namely, the Office of the Vice President, the DSWD - Department of the Social Welfare Development, and the PCSO - Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office. They also have an NGO or Non-Government Office which serves and acts like the Malasakit Center. It is known as the Divine Mercy Program  They provide reduced or low-cost Medical treatment or procedures through a list of doctors who are affiliated with the said hospital.

From phone inquiries to tete-a-tete inquiries, they've provided me a more than 100% customer service. In my phone inquiries, the officer answered every question that I could think of. She was very patient with me and it took almost more than 40 minutes or an hour to assure me that all the concerns I was so worried about have been addressed.  I am very grateful to a kind officer for the early reservation he did for my mother who's scheduled on the 28th of March.

On the day of confinement, March 28, we have been attended to by the friendly staff right from the very moment we entered the Admitting Section.  The officer in charge of the Admitting documents assisted us and guided us on how to fill up the forms. She also gave us instructions on how to go through the admitting process.  After the forms have been filled up, we were guided to the counter for the interview to complete the admitting process. The officer who interviewed us was so kind, very respectful, and patient in explaining to us any queries we had. She provided solutions to every concern we presented to her. The officers and staff in the Admitting Section were very organized and we didn't have any hard time getting the admitting process done.

They have the friendliest and most caring food servers and the best-tasting food there in the Cafeteria located on the lower ground floor of the Podium. They're truly caring people for the fact that they care for the physical well-being of their customers. I ordered a meal and requested them to pack it and reserve it for me. I came four hours later and when I came to pick it up, the manager told me that she won't give it to me anymore. She showed me the packed meal and asked me why I came four hours later when they thought I'd pick it up that same hour I ordered it.  I apologized for coming at a later time due to an inevitable personal reason. I insisted on paying for it and getting the packed food but the manager told me it might be stale already. She told me her concern was that I might end up having food poisoning if they let me eat it. Thus, with a smile, she told me that she would not give my ordered meal to me to save me from such trouble. I offered to pay for their wasted food which should have earned them a cost of a meal. She told me, " It's okay. You don't need to, "  She advised me that next time I have to be sure to pick up my ordered food once it's prepared.

I went to visit the Customer Service Center to express my sincerest gratitude for the outstanding treatment I have received from their colleagues.  Special mention to the people there in the Admitting Section who were so benevolent and patient. They made me feel like I'm a part of a big loving family.  They're all so kindhearted and very compassionate to the point that they took the time to listen to my every concern and in one way or another did the best that they could to assist me.

With much gratitude, I'd like to thank those officers in charge of making sure that their people give their utmost care and exemplary services to us their clients or patients, and our family.

Thank you to all of you who took the time to listen to my sharing and stories. I would never forget all of you especially how you made me feel. You may not know it but what you did to me is something few people would do for someone like me who is a dialysis patient in a wheelchair.  It's rare that people would even care to spare a few minutes to listen to me nowadays.  It's because of you people who spared me your precious time that made me realize that I still matter.  That I'm worth listening to.  Thank you for the encouragement I received from all of you. Most of you told me how amazed you are that despite my physical condition, I was able to do the tiresome tasks of making sure that our mother gets the best hospital care I could provide for her.

Thank you for all your kindness and kind words.  By the simple acts that you did, you made me feel I am cared for. It may not be much to you guys but to me, it means a lot. You all made me feel I am loved. You all inspired me to do more and to be more.  I am so inspired and motivated that I am excited to start on another adventure of having new dreams, of fulfilling them, and thinking of the new set of goals to accomplish.

Thank you to each of you who blessed me so much that very moment you spent those happy conversations with me. May you all continue to be a blessing to all the people God sends your way. May God reward your kindness and generosity in giving of your time, efforts, and yourself. God bless and prosper you all!
